Testimonials

"It’s the bread of life that we get everyday here. Sharing with friends and strangers helps me through life." - Chad, guest

"The Lord's Diner is a cornerstone of the community that everyone can fall back on 365 days a year. Your servers are sweet and it's consistent. You can be a millionaire or struggling and you won't be turned away." - David, guest

“At The Lord’s Diner I can find love, kindness, gentleness, joy, peace, patience, goodness, and faithfulness.” - Annette, guest

"What I love about The Diner is that you treat us like human beings. Everyone else pushes us around and treats us bad. You serve us and wait on us. You’re a blessing from God.” - Pops, guest

"The misconception is that people want a free ride. Once you work here you realize that there are people hurting. You see them out there sleeping on the streets, they're not out for a free ride, they're just hurting, they've got issues in their lives and sometimes you don't realize it."     - Steve, volunteer

“It is a blessing to be here and see everyone.”        - Jack

“The calm and welcoming ambience [of The Lord’s Diner] benefit myself and all other patrons far beyond just nutrition. It is a civil routine and daily comfort to so many of us that rarely have any comforts.” - Anonymous guest
